Review before anything is saved
Surpass validates the file, shows the date range and workout summary, and waits for your confirmation before adding history.
A reviewable workout-history migration
Move supported Hevy, Strong, or FitNotes workout history to Surpass on iPhone. Review the CSV, check exercise matches, and confirm only the context you want to use for your next training block.
Free to download. No account required. Workout history stays on your iPhone.
A migration is useful when it leaves you with a trustworthy starting point, not another archive to search manually.
Surpass validates the file, shows the date range and workout summary, and waits for your confirmation before adding history.
Supported sessions, exercises, sets, weights, reps, notes, distance, duration, and effort context can become useful training evidence.
Choose the CSV on your iPhone. Surpass does not request credentials for Hevy, Strong, or FitNotes, and the original app data stays where it is.

The import path keeps the file boundary visible and gives you a chance to correct exercise matches before history is saved.
Use the workout export from Hevy, Strong, or FitNotes. Keep the CSV unchanged so its headers and dates can be checked correctly.
Select Hevy, Strong, or FitNotes in Import Workout History, then choose the CSV from Files. Source-specific validation explains what needs attention.
Review exercise matches and the import summary. Unmatched movements can remain custom and be mapped later; nothing is saved until you confirm.
Surpass turns supported history into evidence you can see before the next working set.
Surpass currently accepts the supported workout CSV formats for Hevy, English Strong exports, and FitNotes workout-data exports. Do not choose a backup database or full-app backup when the importer asks for a CSV.
The current Strong parser requires date and exercise_name fields, while the FitNotes parser requires date and exercise. Hevy exports use session, exercise, and set fields; optional weight, reps, RPE, distance, duration, and notes are preserved when present.
The current importer rejects files larger than 25 MB and guards against overly complex files with more than 100,000 CSV rows or 256 columns. A fresh, smaller source export is the safest recovery path.
No. The import is file-based and happens from the CSV you select on your iPhone. Surpass does not connect to those accounts or modify their original data.
Yes. Imported sessions and their derived history can be removed separately while workouts logged manually in Surpass remain untouched.
